Cookies Policy for TJ’s Lampshades
At TJ’s Lampshades, we want your shopping experience to be as bright as our handmade designs. To ensure our website works perfectly, we use cookies. This policy explains how we use these small files to improve your visit.
What are these files and how do they work?
These small data files are stored on your device. They help us remember your settings so you don’t have to re-enter info every time you visit. For more general information on how these work, you can visit the ICO website (Information Commissioner’s Office).
How we manage your account data
- Login Details: When you log in, we set several cookies to save your login info. These last for two days. If you select “Remember Me,” your login stays active for two weeks.
- Browser Checks: We use a temporary file to check if your browser accepts them. This contains no data and disappears when you close your browser.
- Screen Choices: We save your display preferences in files that last for one year, ensuring our site looks exactly how you like it.
Cookies and Your Comments
If you leave a comment on our site, you can opt-in to saving your name and email in cookies. These are for your convenience and last for one year. We also collect your IP address to help with spam detection.
Managing your personal settings
You can control how your browser handles cookies through your settings menu. For guides on how to do this for different browsers like Chrome or Safari, check out AboutCookies.org. Please note that disabling them may limit some features on our store.
Managing Your Data
We also collect your IP address and browser details when you comment to help us stop spam. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings at any time, though some site features may stop working. Privacy Policy.
